SH-1 has expressed interest in slowing the average annual decline rate to that of the GMD 4 annual average decline rate within 5 years after program initiation. They have also indicated that they want the process to be driven by voluntary, cost-share programs like WTAP, AWEP, EQIP and the NW Kansas Groundwater Conservation Foundation. They have requested to be included in the 2010 AWEP proposal to NRCS, which was accomplished. Since their last meeting on February 22, 2010 they have not asked for another stakeholder meeting.
